It was a delight to spend the weekend across my constiuency.
The open day at Mackworth Community Allotments was fantastic, it was wonderful to see so many stalls as well as the fruit and veg that is being grown.
The Carribean Carnival was back after two years, it was such a vibrant atmosphere and a wonderful event by the Derby West Indian Community Association.
I was pleased to be able to perform the coin toss for the Colin Bloomfield Charity Cricket Cup on Sunday 17th July. The Ram Slam was a fantastic event, with the money raised being used to support the wonderful work of the Derby County Community Trust.
