This week I went to the Lateral Flow Testing Site at the Riverside Centre on Pride Park, which opened around two weeks ago, to speak with the fantastic team who are conducting the tests, find out if there are any issues at the site and receive an update about how progress is going so far.
The site is open for any frontline key worker staff who live and/or work in Derby and provides lateral flow tests, which can provide a result in just 40 minutes.
I've had one of these tests before, and although the procedure isn't the most pleasant, it is absolutely vital that we can ensure we are not accidentally passing on the virus to family, friends and colleagues.
