Really positive meeting today with Ifti Majid from Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to discuss how important it is that we preserve and restore our mental health, especially of those on the frontline every day like Ifti and his team.
It's great to hear about even more investment coming into mental health facilities and support here in Derby North, including new, vitally important patient services.
Looking after and working to improve our mental health is more important now than it has ever been, and as we emerge from lockdown and look forward to a brighter and better summer, I hope we all continue to take time for ourselves and our wellbeing.
I will keep in contact with Ifti over the coming months and continue with our regular updates. I of course thank him and his brilliant team for all their hard work and dedication.
