It was absolutely fantastic to join pupils from Markeaton Primary School to read 'Dragons in the City' to them as part of #NationalStorytellingWeek.
Reading stories and books, whether fiction or non-fiction, is such a fantastic way to learn and improve your vocabulary, especially for children and young people. Telling stories is also a fantastic way to get creative and imaginative.
So why not pick up that book you haven't gotten round to yet and give it a read this week, or even better, make up your own story and tell it to your kids, parents or friends.
